La Querencia is a Spanish term that means "a place in which we know exactly who we are." In bullfighting, querencia is used to describe an area in the ring that a bull instinctively chooses as his own, to feel safe, gather strength and charge the matador once again.
In May, I was honored to be the featured speaker at Creative Mornings, a monthly breakfast lecture series for the creative community. My intention going into the experience was to raise awareness for Truth Be Told, but what I gained in the end was a whole new level of self-awareness.
